Béryl Abols
Beryl is responsible for organising events, conferences and meetings for ILGA-Europe. She also supports financial compliance processes in the organisation, as well as office management.
Background
Before joining ILGA-Europe, Beryl worked 4 years for Brussels-based business lobby group BusinessEurope. Shifting her career focus from advocacy to project management, she worked over 3 years on various projects in the youth sector. In particular she organised several large youth events and conferences for the European Youth Forum and the Flemish agency for the Youth in Action programme JINT. Beryl holds a Bachelor degree in Political Sciences from the Sorbonne University, Paris and a Master's degree in EU Public Affairs from the Institute of Political Sciences of Strasbourg, France. Her master thesis focused on gender mainstreaming in EU policy-making.
