Roundtable on LGBTI Health in Paris
On 28 November 2014, ILGA-Europe organised the first Roundtable on LGBTI Health in Europe. The French Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Women’s Rights accepted to host the event.
The Roundtable was well attended with policy-makers and activists from nine different EU Member States from all European regions, four European-level activists and the European Commission.
Under the overall theme of ‘LGBTI Health in Europe’, the Roundtable included presentations and case studies on six topics: discrimination in health, mental health, social health determinants, HIV-Aids and other STIs, trans health and intersex health. Regional and thematic working groups allowed public sector and civil society health specialists to share the latest information and good practices.
The event was chaired by Joyce Hamilton, co-chair of ILGA-Europe’s Executive Board.

The final report is available to ILGA-Europe’s members upon request to Sophie Aujean, Senior Policy And Programmes Officer
