Mamikon Hovsepyan

He is an LGBT activist and a human rights defender living and working in Armenia. He started his activism in 2002 and founded Pink Armenia in 2007. Mamikon is elected board member of Non-Discrimination and Equality Coalition in Armenia as well as the president of Human Rights House Yerevan since 2018.

Turkey acquits 19 LGBTI+ Pride marchers, honouring fundamental human rights, domestic law, and international commitments

Leading European LGBTI rights organisation, ILGA-Europe welcomes the decision of a Turkish court to acquit 19 activists, who were charged with “unlawful assembly” for their participation in a peaceful LGBTI+ Pride march in 2019.

Nadzeya Husakouskaya

Senior Programmes Officer

Nadzeya (they/she) is a Senior Programmes Officer. They are responsible for assessing the needs of the movement and developing ways to strengthen the LGBTI movement accordingly, through capacity enhancing activities and regranting. Thematically, they currently focus on counteracting rising anti-LGBTI forces, addressing LGBTI homelessness and developing and implementing approaches and practices around intersectionality.
