<p>ILGA-Europe extends deadline for scholarship application for its annual conference in Vilnius this October until 25 July 2007. </p>

<p>The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring that ILGA is a forceful and effective advocate for LGBT rights. Candidates should be strongly committed to working for this cause, and have excellent competencies and experience in general management, including development of strategy, planning/execution of work programmes, and staff and financial management. </p>

<p>On 1 July 2007, the Presidency of the European Union is taken by Portugal for the next six months. Traditionally, ILGA-Europe presents its Memorandum to the EU Presidency identifying its expectations and setting challenges for the Presidency. </p>

Dear All, <br />Thank you for contributing to the development of the Strategic Plan 2008-2011 for ILGA-Europe. We had 13 questionnaires returned, which reflected feedback from 10 different countries. In addition the Board and Staff met for day to reflect on the current plan and to propose developments for the next plan.</p>
