Training session on strategic litigation in the field of the rights of trans people
Call for participants - deadline for applications – 7 October 2011
As part of its programme of work to encourage the use of strategic litigation to promote LGBTI rights in Europe, ILGA-Europe is holding a one-day training session on litigation in the field of the rights of trans people, in association with Transgender Europe.
First ever international intersex forum
Between 3-5 September 2011, the first International Intersex Organising Forum took place in Brussels. ILGA-Europe together with ILGA World organised and sponsored the event.

ILGA-Europe urges Serbian authorities to ensure the necessary protection and support to Belgrade Pride 2011
The organisers of Belgrade Pride 2011 have announced today that the Pride Parade will take place on the 2 October. In 2010, Belgrade Pride was held with success which partly was due to adequate police protection and support from the Serbian authorities. This year prominent politicians have questioned whether the police should protect the pride march - these statements will endanger the safety of the event.
