In the streets of Bucharest, Romania, October 2009
ACCEPT, a Romanian LGBT organisation, translated and got the ILGA-Europe posters up all over Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
6 Backlits and 17 city lights were posted in all main areas and neighborhoods of Bucharest between October 22nd and November 22nd. The backlist are frames measuring 4000x3000 mm in average, situated next to shopping centers and crossroads. The city lights are frames measuring 1100x1600 mm, situated in bus stops.
The feedback Accept received consisted in phone calls from LGBT people who congratulated the campaign and thanked us for posting the posters and for representing the community out in the open. There was one person that accused Accept via email of promoting abnormality and immorality.
