As Mayor of Ljubljana I would like to confirm my support to your appeal supporting the right of expression and assembly for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people in all European cities. The City of Ljubljana supports equality and human rights for everybody, irrespective of sexual orientation and or gender identity. This year I supported Ljubljana Pride Parade 2007 as a main speaker where I emphasized that Ljubljana is open and liberal city. Moreover I think Ljubljana is a wonderful city on account of tolerance of its inhabitants.
