As a member of OutRage! since 1995, I participated in demonstrations and direct actions, corresponded with government ministers, minuted meetings, and developed the web site.
I have also promoted LGBT interests as a member of local LGBT groups and health bodies, and am currently co-chair of the Green Party's LGBTIQ group.
Alarmed by the increasing threat of religiously motivated homophobia and the "equalities hierarchy", I have lobbied for rational debate on faith issues, including promoting the Atheist Bus Campaign, and becoming debaptised.
