<p>The EU project will not be credible until LGBT people have their legitimate rights fulfilled, guaranteeing their equal opportunities as everyone else. The EU is based on non discrimination principles which should be applied also to LGBT people, which is not the case to this day. Furthermore, homophobic attitudes and actions are undertaken also by some governments of the EU member states, this is totally unacceptable, and these acts should be prosecuted and eradicated.</p>
