Como candidato nº 1 y cabeza de lista del PSOE a las Elecciones al Parlamento Europeo, manifiesto mi compromiso personal y el de los socialistas españoles con los derechos de lesbianas, gays, transexuales y bisexuales en Europa, de acuerdo con el manifiesto de ILGA-E, así como nuestro compromiso de impulsar en el Parlamento Europeo las iniciativas y propuestas que hemos hecho realidad en España, y que desarrollé personalmente como Ministro de Justicia del Gobierno de España entre 2004 y 2007.

As first candidate and head of the PSOE list to the elections of the European Parliament, I declare my personal commitment and that of the Spanish Socialists to the defence of the rights of lesbians, gays, transsexuals, bisexuals in Europe, in accordance with the ILGA-E manifesto, as well as our commitment to promote in the European Parliament the same initiatives and proposals we have realized in Spain and which I personally developed as Minister of Justice in the Spanish Government between 2004 and 2007.
