Combatting discrimination is one of the major challenges for the European Union, especially in light of the economic crisis. We cannot stand idly by while people are excluded, or worse, on the basis of their sexual orientation or any other ground. Non-discrimination policy has always been at the heart of green politics, because it is at the heart of a politics of inclusion.
