Homophobia has been a heated matter of discussion at the European Parliament during the past years. Full anti-discrimination protection for LGBT people still doesn't exist, and instances of homophobia are still an everyday reality for many people in the EU. Therefore this subject remains the need to be addressed. I hope to continue advocating for LGBT human rights during many years to come and support D66 in this election campaign for the excellent contribution it has made to this subject in past years. I support D66 with my candidature on a 'non-electable' position.
