"Legislation alone is not enough to fight discrimination. Europe should make sure that the national governments implement and promote anti-discrimination legislation. Equal treatment is a fundamental right, it is about a society in which everyone can participate. The European Parliament should ensure this for every citizen in Europe, including LGBT people".
