Talks about gay bashing hotline

Editor-in-chief Henk Krol of bi-weekly gay rights magazine Gay Krant (Gay Newspaper) will meet with Attorney General Herman Bolhaar next week to discuss the magazine’s gay bashing hotline.

Mr Bolhaar approached Mr Krol last week to discuss the nearly 100 reports the Gay Krant received in just a few days from gay couples who say they are regularly being harassed by their neighbours.

Mr Krol created the hotline after incidents in the cities of Utrecht, Sittard and The Hague in which gay couples were forced to leave their homes.
