Within the Slovak Queer Film Festival a debate on homosexuality and Christianity will be held on October 10, 7 pm in Štúdio 12, Jakubovo námestie 12, Bratislava. The Festival also hosts a debate on AIDS. “It has already been 30 years from the moment the first information on immune deficiency syndrome appeared. The number of infected people is constantly rising in Slovakia, however HIV has been discussed very little,” explained Ján Benec of Iniciatíva Inakosť, on why this debate has been hosted within the Festival. The debate will be held on Sunday, October 2 at 2 pm in FTF VŠMU, Svoradova 2.

Theatre play “Sissies” is another event of the Slovak Queer Film Festival, given by NoMantinels theatre, focusing in its stage project on non-heterosexual minority, gender identity and gender stereotypes. “Sissies” is about a trip of four young people, who had met at strange circumstances. It will be staged on September 23 and October 5 in Štúdio 12 at 7 pm. Entrance free with the Festival badge.
