Between 21st and 27th of May, ACCEPT Association in partnership with IGLYO organized the international seminar: Enlightenment 2: Exploring Formal Education Experiences for LGBT Young People. The event was funded by the Council of Europe through European Youth Foundation, the Soros Foundation in Romania and TRUT Fonds from the Netherlands.

The goal of the event was to discuss and share experiences of challenging homophobia within education, to create networks of youth activists working to challenge homophobia within education and to explore how homophobia can be challenged within each country, with a focus on secondary and higher education systems.

The activity included pre-seminar activities: promote the seminar, select participants, prep-team meetings, prepare seminar activities, invite experts, hold seminar and publish peer education report to disseminate findings. The seminar was organized for 7 days (2 of these for arrival and departure), with 5 full working days.
