THE INTERNATIONAL PROTEST REGARDING THE DESTRUCTION OF RUSSIAN FREEDOM LAWS AGAINST LGBT PEOPLE CONTINUES. THE MARCH IN TORINO IS IN FAVOR OF THE FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND PROTEST. TORINO LGBT PRIDE ORGANIZATION, RADICAL ASSOCIATION OF CERTAIN RIGHTS AND THE RADICAL ADELAIDE AGLIETTA ASSOCIATION ARE ALL IN FAVOR OF FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND SPEECH.
During the press conference for the presentation of the exhibition “The Collector of Wonders: the Hermitage of Basilewsky” in Torino more than 30 activists from the Torino LGBT Pride Organization, the Radical Asssociation of Certain Rights and the Radical Adelaide Aglietta Association protested in front of Palazzo Madama against the recently approved laws on homophobia and opposing freedom. In particular we refer to the law against so-called “homosexual propaganda,” the inexplicable and vile issue against LGBT people’s freedom of expression and protest in that country.

The City Council of Torino approved a motion against this law last April 29th. Futhermore it decided to subject any other cultural initiatives with St. Petersburg to the official communication of protest and opposition of the city regarding the above-mentioned law. The Mayor of Torino affirmed that he has already officially communicated the city’s decisions with the Russian Ambassador.
