Belarusian nazbols unite against "Gay Pride"

Submitted by, Gay Alliance Belarus

Autonomous National Bolsheviks in alliance with Belarusian Patriotic Movement "RUMOL" opposed against "Gay Pride" and urged the authorities and citizens to actively combat this event, claiming the need to avoid "blue obscurantism". Statement to that effect was sent by press service of the Autonomous National Bolsheviks of Belarus to a REGNUM on March 21.

The report notes that 14 to May 17 in Minsk, "representatives of the so-called sexual minorities are going to make a parade of sodomites and perverts" - a statement on the conduct of "parade" was received from the organizers of the Minsk city executive committee.

"We appeal to all sensible people and community organizations, for whom the concept of morality and spirituality - not just empty words. These "parade" have nothing to do with civil liberties, but in fact are an attempt to impose a perversion as the norm. The Republic of Belarus has always been a moral state, which is part of one of the Slavic world and professes his spiritual and moral traditions", - said in a statement. - "We, as the initiators of this appeal, we believe that holding the parade of homosexuals in the Republic of Belarus - an insult to all the Slavic community, challenging our moral and this conduct is unacceptable. We call upon the citizens and community leaders to join the movement against gay-parade in the Republic of Belarus".

Recall that the activists of IDAHO Belarus plan "March of Equality" on May 17th, timed to coincide with International Day Against Homophobia and transofoby, which some media regard as a "gay parade".

The main aim of the event – to support of human rights and civil equality for all people regardless of ethnicity, religious and cultural beliefs, sexual orientation and gender identity.

This march will be held in the framework of the "Festival of Equality", which IDAHO Belarus plans to hold from 14 to 17 May.
