The first research on the situation of transgender people in Ukraine (in Russian), published by the Kiev-based NGO “Insight” in April 2010. The research report covers internal and social coming-out, issues related to transitioning and access to transgender-related health-care, discrimination and attitudes towards transgender people and needs assessment. The report closes with recommendations towards the government, the ministry of health, legal institutions and civil society actors.
