The Netherlands

Anti-discrimination
Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is prohibited in areas of health care, education, access to good and services and housing.
Legal gender recognition of trans people
The Netherlands has administrative procedures to obtain legal gender recognition - however only after compulsory sterilisation.
Partnership recognition
In The Netherlands same-sex couples are able to marry or enter into a registered partnership. Cohabitating same-sex couples almost have the same rights as cohabitating different sex couples.
Parenting rights
Same-sex couples are eligible to jointly apply for a child adoption and each other’s biological children.
Medically assisted insemination is available to lesbian couples.
Criminal law on hate speech/crime
Laws on hate and violence do not explicitly refer to sexual orientation or gender identity. However public prosecutors can demand a 100% higher sentence when violence has a discriminatory motive against LGBT people.
Freedom of assembly/Pride events
Pride events have taken place with authorisation.
Criminal law on age of consent
The age of consent is equal for all sexual acts.
