The Slovak Queer Film Festival (FFi) is to screen films about gays and lesbians to
support Bratislava Rainbow Pride. The documentary The Times of Harvey Milk (d.
Rob Epstein, USA, 1984) is scheduled for June 3, a day before the Pride, in A4 –
nultý priestor. The film offers an intriguing story of a well-known homosexual activist
and politician. The projection starts at 7 pm and the entrance is free.

A screening of Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement (d. Susan Muska, Greta
Olafsdottir, USA, 2009) will take place on June 1 at 7.30 pm, in the OPEN Gallery as
a follow up of a discussion organized by the Open Society Foundation and the U.S.
Embassy. The audience can see a love story of two lesbians from New York. The film
reached the second place in the Audience Vote for the most favourite film during FFi
2010 and due to an extremely positive audience response it was decided to bring the
film to the Slovak audience again. Entrance for the screening is free.
