The book “Towards a Democratic Society – Freedom of Public Assembly, the Right of All”, by Zorica Mršević, was written as part of the Institute of Social Sciences’ project “Democratic Models of Developing Social Cohesion, Tolerance, Human Rights and Economic Growth in Political and Institutional Processes of the EU Integration in Serbia”. This is the second publication under the title of “Towards a Democratic Society”, which focuses on some current, perhaps still controversial, aspects of development in Serbian society in the context of that society’s need for inevitable changes and reforms in the EU integration process.
