On the 16 May, during the concert organized by Juventas to mark the IDAHO day in downtown Podgorica tear gas was thrown into the crowd. 2 people were attacked after the concert.

The attackers called them ‘Not to spread the disease here". Following these incidents, LGBT Forum Progress, the organizer of Podgorica Pride, planned to take place on the 31 May, postponed the Pride. The leader of the organization pointed to the failure of the government to provide real (not just declarative) political support by ensuring the participation and public support of the Pride by leading political figures.

The Pride March is postponed until such support is provided by the government. On the day of planned Pride march, LGBT Forum Progress will organize a conference on Freedom of Assembly.
