<p>A written declaration was tabled by Danish delegate, Mogens Jensen. He had tabled a similar Declaration during the April session.</p>

<p> This May lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) organisations in Moldova and Ukraine are planning to hold public events. Today the court in the Moldovan capital of <i>Chişinău</i> ruled that the planned peaceful demonstration supporting adoption of anti-discrimination law can only take place in a park far from the city centre.</p>

<p>Reporting and monitoring are crucial to raise awareness within national and European institutions, among law enforcement officers and the public. Hence, developing a reporting and monitoring strategy is a prerequisite for an efficient advocacy to call on policy makers to adopt laws and implement policies against violence.</p>

In anticipation of yet another year of battle for the right of LGBT people to assemble, the European Parliamentarians already now announce their warming to one of the countries which previously violated LGBT people’s right to free assembly - Moldova. </p>

<p>The National Congress of the Democratic Youth of the Moldovan Democratic Party took place in Chisinau. At this event, for the fist time in our country's history, representatives of Information Centre &quot;GenderDoc-M&quot; - the organization, which promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights in Moldova - actively participated.</p>
