Joint letter from the European Parliament’s Intergroup on LGBT Rights and ILGA-Europe about the homophobic law in Lithuania

Today, the European Parliament’s Intergroup on LGBT Rights and ILGA-Europe sent a co-written and co-signed letter regarding the proposals to criminalise ‘propaganda of homosexual relationships’ in Lithuania.

The proposals are now within the legal Affairs Committee of Lithuanian Parliament, this is a continuation of ILGA-Europes and the Intergroup's joint efforts with the Lithuanian Parliament. The Parliament will consider the proposals in September 2009.
