- The lesbian Eastern Europe at the turning point? Political upheavals like the turn of 1989 and the EU accession of Eastern European countries have left some deep marks in the personal, social and political history of lesbians. We want to cast a backward glance, detect significant events, and discuss effects of the system to the lesbian life in Eastern Europe and the tendency up to the present.

The European dimension of networks of lesbian activists and organizations working for equality, tolerance and acceptance of lesbians and gay men is the subject of the panel discussion. Cooperation projects and their current status, problem areas of networking and common benchmarks are discussed.
