MANEO Action Days 2008 more successful than ever
The gay Berlin anti-violence project MANEO gives a very positive review of this year’s MANEO Action Days held on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia (17 May). MANEO Project Head Bastian Finke says: "We succeeded in drawing attention to and mobilising commitment against homophobia and hate violence in the most various social areas."
From 10 to 25 May MANEO successfully put the topic of homophobia and hate violence based on prejudice on the agenda and campaigned for sustained support of its work with a total of six actions and events.
