Registered same sex couples will have almost equal rights

Yesterday, August 17, 2010, Germany's constitutional court published an important decision concerning inheritance law: it is unconstitutional to treat registered same sex couples in a different way than married couples. This decision is a further milestone in our struggle for equal rights. It will be much easier now to get rid of still existing legal discrimination. Only the common adoption law for registered same sex couples will still be a major struggle.
