Homophobic statements by public officials in Georgia

Homophobic rhetoric is endemic in Georgian politics. The Inclusive Foundation began consistent documenting of state based homophobia as soon as it started operation as a registered entity (2006). Below we bring together a few examples which we have been able to document. These examples require special attention since they involve officials who are supposed to be acting as guarantors of civil equality and the rule of law in the country.
