Registered Partnership Law Accepted

On 16 December 2005 the Registered Parnership Law has been agreed by the Czech Chamber of
Deputies. 86 MPs were for, 54 MPs were against, 7 did not vote. Quite a lot of MPs decided not to vote for or against and left the room. The law is still not valid, it has to pass throught the Senate.
This upper chamber of the Czech Parliament is quite conservative so it is not sure the law will be
successfull. In this case the Chamber of Deputies must vote for the law again and overvote the Senate.
