On Sunday 11 December 2005 the first TV show "The Chosen One" competition (similar like "Big Brother") finished in the Czech Republic. The show was very popular (about 40-50 percent of TV share).
The winner is a gay boy named Vladko, who declared already at the begining of the competition that he
is gay and he has got a partner. This theme was afterwards often discussed in the TV.

Thanks to Vladko's natural behaviour and congeniality the Czech society had received a quite good
knowledge of gay people and they could feel that the homosexuality is a normal part of the society.
