Contact Making Seminar “Inter Diversity”

Number of participants: 2 per country

The project is a seminar with the active participation of organizations with similar work and mission from different countries. The aim of the project is to establish new fruitful partnerships between organizations from EU-member and non-EU member countries. During the seminar will be explored key issues of the international collaboration in respective to the human rights of homosexual, bisexual and transgender youth, as to establish successful partnership between the participating countries. The cultural heritage of the different countries will provide for diverse and crucial perspective, necessary for the sustainable implementation of the future collaborations. As to safeguard the practical output of the project, the participants are required to implement the acquired knowledge and new contacts into at least one joint international youth project. Last but not least is the objective to promote the YOUTH Program in Bulgaria and abroad, so that the participants will be able to explore the maximum of the benefits the program provides to the young people nationally or internationally.

The project’s objectives are:

• creation of new partnerships and YOUTH projects
• improved quality of YOUTH projects in the partners already involved in Youth projects locally,
• promotion of the YOUTH programme in Bulgaria and other participating countries,
• promote LGBT human rights projects,
• learn how to plan projects together,
• share knowledge and experiences,
• develop cooperation and cultural awareness,
• celebrate diversity and differences,
• get to know future partners for implementing LGBT human rights projects,
• plan a future LGBT human rights projects,
• learn and get closer to different cultures,
• learn about our individual and common backgrounds,
• promote Bulgaria and its culture and customs and
• to establish a network.
