Dear friends!

We are organizing a seminar in Antwerp, Belgium from 10th till 16th of July 2007 called 'solidarity within Europe'.

What is it about?

Next year July 2007 we have the chance in Belgium to organize the Eurogames. This is a sports event for all LGBTQ sports organizations around Europe. We saw it as the perfect opportunity to organize a seminar to bring all active youth organizations together and try to create a better network and more solidarity towards each other. This seminar would focus on getting to know the already existing networks such as IGLYO and ILGA and would learn more about how to network, communication, how to work with media and so on... We will include a trip to Brussels, to the European Parliament where we would create a place to talk with some parliamentarians. Seeing it is the Eurogames we will of course create the possibility to go and check it out, feel the atmosphere of more then 1000 LGBTQ people coming together and having fun in Antwerp.

Who can apply?

This seminar is meant for youth workers who work around LGBTQ issues, with LGBTQ youth or are interested in getting to know more about LGBTQ.

If our project is approved the normal Youth in Action rules will apply and 70% of the travel costs will be covered and 100% of the food and accommodation costs.
