ILGA-Europe launches its questionnaire on trade unions and LGBT rights

23/10/2007

The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) is leading a project entitled Extending Equality: Trade union actions to organise and promote equal rights, respect and dignity for workers regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity.

This project foresees the gathering of good practice examples by trade unions across Europe, through the distribution of a questionnaire to all of the ETUC national affiliates and to the European Industry Federations.

ILGA-Europe is a key partner in this project, and has developed a questionnaire for European LGBT NGOs, to learn about their national/regional experience of trade unions’ work with regard to LGBT people. The results of this project shall then be disseminated widely during a seminar that shall be held towards the end of January 2008, and through the publishing of a report and a brochure.

Please note that this questionnaire should not take more than 10 minutes to complete!

Please find the questionnaire below.
