Funding for NGOs in member states who accessed to the EU on May 2004

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice, Freedom and Security has launched a call for proposals which aims to select projects that will be co-funded by the European Union to support civil society in the Member States which acceded to the EU on 1st May 2004.

The project areas will be: the rule of law, democracy, fundamental rights, media pluralism and the fight against corruption. The deadline for applications is 15 May 2007.
