Latvia to ban discrimination in employment

Today the Social and Employment Committee of the Latvian Parliament, passed in the second reading an amendment to the Latvia’s Labour Law explicitly banning sexual orientation in employment.

Belgian lower house approves gay adoption law

(Reuters) - Belgium moved closer to becoming the third European Union member state to grant homosexual couples equal rights in adoption when its lower house passed a controversial bill early on Friday.
