ILGA-Europe organises its first International Day against Homophobia lecture in Brussels

ILGA-Europe is marking the International Day against Homophobia (17 May) by introducing its first annual lecture. The lecture is organised jointly with the International Law Association (Belgian Branch). Each year the lecture will cover different subjects and the first lecture will address the issues of legal recognition of LGBT families in Europe.

Guide for LGBT travellers to Eurovision song contest in Belgrade

Taking into accounts threats of violence against LGBT travellers to Belgrade during the Eurovision song contest, a short Guide with useful information was produced by Serbia' s Gay Straight alliance to help foreign LGBT travellers to Belgrade.

BBC: Anti-discrimination plans put on ice

This weekend the BBC's weekly politics programme 'The Record: Europe' has a feature on a new EU anti-discrimination directive and the European Commission's plans not to include sexual orientation in the Directive.The programme features interviews with the representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament and ILGA-Europe.
