"Intergroup congratulates Czech Republic with the first Pride parade."

For the first time in the history of the Czech republic a Pride parade will take place in the city of Brno on 28 June.

The European Parliament's Intergroup on Gay and Lesbian Rights congratulates the Czech Republic with their first Pride event and sending support to organisers and participants of the Pride parade.

"Although we cannot be there, we are with you in every step of the way", said Michael Cashman, President of the Intergroup. "Always remember that you are not alone. You have our support and solidarity."
