For the seventh year in a row, Zagreb hosts the Gay Pride parade on Saturday 28.06.08, with a procession of LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersexual and queer) people marching through the centre of the capital under the motto "The Power of Unity - You Have the Courage!".

Zagreb Prides consists of a public assembly, until 2007 at Zrinjevac Park, since 2007 in Marshal Tito Square (Trg maršala Tita), the Pride march and the Pride programAWK. Since 2007, the Pride program with speaches has been held in "Cvjetni trg", Petar Preradović Square (Trg Petra Preradovića). Sometimes there are other pre-programs held a few days before the Pride march.
