Summary
Through this project, we intend to gather facts on human rights violations based on gender identity in Portugal and present an overview of the social, legal and medical situation of transsexual persons. We then intend to make this information available to policymakers and to use it as an advocacy tool to help ensure the access of transsexual persons to health care, education, employment and social protection.
