Summary of voting records of members of the European Parliament - Recent resolutions relevant to the rights of LGBT people (2004-2009)
This article compiles the voting records of members of the European Parliament on resolutions adopted since 2004 which are relevant to the rights of LGBT people.
The voting records are organised by political grouping (as opposed to by country), i.e.:
- ALDE – Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe
- GUE/NGL – Confederal Group of the European United Left- Nordic Green Left
- PPE-DE – Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats
- PSE – Party of European Socialists
- Greens/ALE – European Greens
- UEN – Union for a Europe of NationsCommittee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs
- IND/DEM: Independence/Democracy Group
- NI – non-attached members

European Parliament resolution on homophobia in Europe (P6_TA(2006)0018 – 18 January 2006)
The European Parliament voted an amended resolution on homophobia with great majority 468 in favour 149 against 41 abstentions.
