Claudette Abela Baldacchino

I believe in a Social Europe. In my capacity as Rapporteur to the Committee of the Regions of the European Union, I have had the opportunity to submit my Opinion on the issue of Non-Discrimination, Equal Opportunities and the Implementation of the Principle of Equal Treatment between persons. Therein I advocate that Europe needs to have policies that are designed to promote active participation and full integration of all member of society, irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, religion, race or physical or economic abilities.
